Aon Edge was founded in 2003 and is a division of Aon. They offer private Flood Insurance to homeowners with quick, streamlined underwriting.
Private flood insurance from Aon Edge is an alternative to the federally-sponsored insurance offered by the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). Flood insurance plans are available in all states except Alaska, Washington D.C., Hawaii, and Kentucky.
They offer their own standalone “EZ Flood” plan which is available in any “A” flood zone and select B, C, V, and X flood zones. Excess Flood is also available for properties that are above the NFIP maximum payout limits and is designed to supplement the NFIP insurance policy but not replace it like their EZ Flood plan.
